Location: Foreshore, Cape Town
Salary: R40k – R60k per month

About the Role:
An Analytics Team Lead is responsible for managing the Analytics Team and driving
data, measurement, tracking and analytics best practices across the team and the
business. You are required to have detailed and in-depth Analytics and Tagging
knowledge which you will share with the team to grow and upskill them to a Senior
level. As an Analytics Team Lead, you work closely with the Head of Data Strategy
and Analytics, Operations Team, Consulting Team and Client Services team.

Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience within the digital industry
Digital Marketing Campaign Management and strategy experience
3+ years’ experience utilizing and implementing Google Analytics, Google Tag
Manager and Adobe Analytics (Advantageous)
Google Analytics IQ Exam Certified (up to date certificate required)
Google Marketing Platform (DV360, SA360 and Campaign Manager 360) and
Google Ads certified (advantage)(up to date certificate required)
Tech Savvy: knowledge and experience with Java Script, Python, R, SQL
Experience in working within a fast-paced global team
Experience in working directly with Department Heads & commercial teams.
Project Management experience
Ability to identify and support teams to resolve technology/platform problems

Duties:
Managing the Analytics team
Driving data and implementation best practices across the team
Maintaining an environment of learning and growth in the team
Ensuring all Analytics are being serviced to the highest standards
Growing Analytics clients and looking for new opportunities
Working closely with Ops, Consultancy and Client Services teams
Training and Knowledge Sharing
Managing Tier 1 Clients
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager Implementations
Produce and present analytics audit reports for corrective or advanced tracking
and data collection architectures
Troubleshooting, testing and validating analytics implementations and tracking
through various testing tools.
Deliver testing results and work with client engineering teams to fix or enhance data collection practices
Deliver reports and findings to clients in-person or via conference calls
Educate clients on the importance of online measurement & provide best practice guidance for technical aspects of analytics.
Provide instruction on campaign tagging and additional on-site tracking
Provide guidance to data analysts to produce marketing dashboards via Google Sheets, Excel and various APIs (e.g. Google Analytics)
Train clients on the GMP and Analytics products such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
Assist the product team with Governance and other technical products
Work with some of the largest brands in the CPG, Retail, and News & Media Industries
