About the Role:
The Salesforce Architect is a lead or technical manager within the project team. (S)he designs a technical architecture solution that may span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems. The Architect manages the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale. Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture.

Relevant Tertiary Degree
5+ years’ experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture, architecture frameworks
3+ years’ experience working with solutions of the Salesforce ecosystem
Strong Salesforce knowledge with thorough understanding of integration components & technology
Good understanding concept of software development and the underlying software design patterns
Solid technical foundations including APEX,, .Net, Java, SQL, structured system analysis and design methods
Solid knowledge of the features in either one or more of the following areas: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Analytics Cloud, Mulesoft Integration Platform
Experience with tools to design and document a complex solution, define and detail out architecture, drive a project from architecture point of view
Participation in the Salesforce Architect University and thorough understanding of the topics covered by it:
Understanding of best practices in the areas of coding standards, deployment, Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce integration and security
Certifications: Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Developer certifications
Communication skills in German and/or English

Act as a customer-facing role and contact point for the development team internally
Present and communicate technical topics to people without technical background
Understand the purpose of the solution from a business point of view
Act as bridge between business and development team
Translate business requirements into a software design
Create technical specifications and contribute to the functional specification
Support Sales during the pre-sales phase
Assume responsibility for the effort estimation of the full solution
Develop end-to-end solution plan and act as a technical lead for the project from initial kickoff through requirements analysis, design and implementation phases to go live
Cooperate with the project manager and support during the test phase
Ensure the technical quality of delivery to ensure a scalable and performant solution.
Proactively highlight project risks to the project manager
