Location: Green Point, Cape Town
Salary: R12k – R15k CTC per month (medical aid and provident fund)

Purpose of the Role:
To provide accurate and meaningful record of financial transactions that supports the overall accounting function and meets with stakeholder requirements by accurately processing and allocating all creditor and banking related transactions.

Requirements:
Relevant Accounting Diploma, Certificate or Degree
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Creditors Administrator
Experience working on Pastel Version 14.2.2 software, MS Excel and MS Office
General accounting principles with focus on creditors and related internal control application
Experience processing and reconciling of creditors daily, weekly and monthly
Matching payments and sending follow up remittances
Bank processing, fixed assets and insurance administration
Proficient in processing invoices and accounts
Numerical ability and logic to manage accounting queries
Experienced in handling complex reconciliations

Duties:
Collating creditor invoices for processing and payment
Accurate processing of invoices to General and Supplier Ledgers in Pastel
Accurately allocating processing against relevant Cost element and Project
Preparation of Creditor reconciliation for review and payment
Allocating payments accurately to supplier ledger in Pastel
Accurate allocation of deposits and payments in GL, Supplier and Debtor ledgers
Preparation of payments on Standard Bank Business Online
Variance analysis of expenses to budget
Reconciliation of balance sheet provision and suspense accounts
Overall responsibility for fixed assets (reconciliation, inventory & accounting)
