Location: Durban, KZN

Duration: 8 month contract

Requirements:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification
PMI or Prince 2 Certification
SAP MM/PP/QM Certification
SAPICs Certifications
8 years of work experience in consulting or in the manufacturing/oil industry
8 years of SAP WM/EWM experience
4 years SAP ITS mobile experience
4 years managing SAP WM integration with other modules
SAP Project Management experience within logistics
Minimum of 3 full SAP WM lifecycle implementations involving bar code scanners
Profound SAP project and Go-Live experience (SAP implementation approach)

Duties:
Lead the successful delivery of complex customer IT projects from initiation, planning, design to implementation.
Manage the project from start to completion including the resolution of project risks and issues.
Develop concrete project plans for SAP WM implementation
Prepare weekly status reports, highlighting progress and risks
Manage requirements changes and technical integration aspects for FI-CO, MM, PP, QM, PM, ITS Mobile
Manage challenging projects in business process and IT consulting with focus on the petro-chemicals industry
Develop innovative concepts and implement sophisticated consulting solutions in the field of Supply Chain Management
Deploy process, quality and cost-optimized logistics concepts for floor layout design and system configuration
Lead business and technical team members in completing their project deliverables
Provides leadership and management of the project team.
Ensures project objectives and performance metrics are defined and achieved.
Ensures that project deliverable meet the required quality standards and are accepted by the customer.
Create & Present Management of Change (MoC) as well as IT Change Control documents for approval.
Responsible for the creation and update of the project scope/charter, schedule and plan with financial, resource and equipment requirements.
Responsible for regular internal project status and project financial reporting.
Responsible for organizing and leading project team and project governance team meetings.
Accountable for the Project Budget.
Participates in the preparation of service level agreements.
Oversees project staff including project engineers, both on- and off-site teams, vendors, partners or subcontractors.
Presents project business value to BLT for approval of IT investments.
Capturing key Lessons learnt and Best Practices which can be used to improve Service delivery
Continuously focuses on project delivery excellence and high level of customer satisfaction.
Build tight working relationship with offsite 3rd party delivery teams
