About the Role:
Opportunity available for a Digital Performance Marketing Strategist and Analyst, with a minimum of 10 years of marketing expertise to craft and execute high-impact digital, performance, and social media marketing strategies. You will be creating digital marketing strategies aimed at enhancing brand visibility, driving online traffic, optimizing user experience, and segmenting audiences with high propensity to converting leads into customers. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical skills, capable of dissecting complex data and shaping it into actionable insights. The role requires a collaborative leader, skilled in A/B testing, SEO/SEM optimization, and social media engagement, embodying innovation and strategic acumen in the ever evolving fintech landscape.
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years’ experience within digital marketing
Marketing experience within the Fintech industry is essential
Proficient in marketing automation technology and analytics tools
Advanced knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Google AdWords
Strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking, and attention to detail
Proven expertise in using digital marketing tools, web analytics and social media platforms
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
Demonstrated experience in leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Certifications in Digital Marketing, Google Analytics, or related fields
Experience working in a start-up, high-performance environment
Knowledge of the South African financial landscape and regulatory environment
Develop and execute innovative and data-driven digital performance marketing strategies
Utilise SEO/SEM techniques to optimise website traffic, ensuring high visibility
Oversee the creation and optimisation of digital content
Conduct regular website audits to enhance user experience, accessibility, and performance.
Manage all aspects of performance marketing campaigns
Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and optimize campaigns
Conduct regular A/B testing, oversee conversion points, and optimize user funnels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align performance marketing initiatives
Develop and implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies
Manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo, and Bing
Allocate budget effectively, ensuring efficient spending and high conversion rates.
Content, Community and Social Media Marketing:
Develop and implement social media strategies
Monitor social media trends, tools, platforms, and competitors
Create and curate engaging and shareable digital content for social media platforms
Build and nurture relationships with influencers and industry partners
Manage and optimize content distribution to attract and engage audience segments.
Collaborate with the content team to produce high-quality content
Analytics and Reporting:
Analyse marketing data and customer insights to identify trends and generate reports
Develop dashboards and reports to track key results and objectives
Provide in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns, customer behavior, and market trends
Present findings and insights to internal stakeholders and senior leadership
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay abreast of the latest trends
Leverage insights to inform and enhance marketing strategies and tactics
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with business objectives,
Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the company website utilizing a range of techniques including paid search, SEO, and PPC.
Lead the development of customer segmentation strategies and targeted marketing campaigns
A/B Testing and Experimentation:
Plan and execute A/B tests and multivariate experiments
Analyse experiment results, draw actionable conclusions, and iterate on marketing strategies
Develop hypotheses and design campaigns with the aim on experimentation to improve engagement, conversion, and click-through rates
