Hospitality Manager – Upmarket Safari Lodge | Tanzania
Salary: $3000 - $4000 nett per month plus benefits

About the Role:
Fantastic opportunity available for a Hospitality Manager to join a bespoke high-end safari lodge based in Tanzania. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and consistently delivering excellence in service and quality across the portfolio, as well as continuing to integrate wellness and well-being into appropriate areas. The candidate must exhibit strong leadership and communication skills, and be able to draw from their own experience and skillset to unify the team, working alongside them in a strict but fair manner, to deliver effective results. A proven track record of experience in high-end hospitality is essential.
Requirements:
3 year Tertiary Qualification in hospitality management
Ten (10) years senior management experience in bespoke high end luxury hospitality
Strong financial acumen would be an advantage
Computer Skills, the group uses a number of systems: PMS; POS, Xero, Quickbooks and Zoho
Experience in safari operations or remote locations
Excellent leadership abilities and communication skills
A candidate with a strong F&B background would be preferred
Record of assisting with safari logistic operations and camp movements
Have a high EQ to adapt to and understand and respect all different cultures
Able to move through all the company’s areas of operations which currently include 1
lodge and 2 camps geographically
Be able to work with multiple senior managers, managers from different countries, speaking different languages and different cultures
Front of house eye for quality and detail
Logistics and purchasing processes and management
Ability to implement strong controls & procedures
Project management skills
Labour law proficiency and strong human resource understanding
Statistical proficiency and analysis capabilities
Proven track record of strong lodge management ability within the luxury hospitality sector
Systems proficiency (financial and commercial)
An understanding of philanthropy and link between commercial enterprise
Responsibilities:
